Our School

Welcome to Lumphanan School website.

In Lumphanan School we take pride in the fact that this is a happy school with a real sense of team spirit. We like to work in partnership with parents.

The Village of Lumphanan is set in an attractive rural location 26 miles west of Aberdeen. Within the village there is a small local shop with a part time post office, a community run playgroup, a hairdresser, a hotel/pub, a café, a church hall, a well-utilised village hall, a picturesque church and a play park. Lumphanan School is very much a part of the wider community who support us in so many ways.

The catchment area is the village of Lumphanan and the surrounding rural area. Lumphanan School currently has a role of 48 pupils comprising 2 classes, providing education for children from Primary 1 – Primary 7.

A copy of our School Handbook is below for your information. Please take the time to look through the Handbook, as it contains a lot of useful information and links.
